Music critics across southern Wisconsin are all abuzz having just learned of the play list for the upcoming summer concert, June 15th from 6:30 to 7:30 at Lakeview Park in Middleton. Today’s NY Times has a fascinating article about which of the iconic people or bands we most associate with rock and roll will be remembered by generations far into the future and which will fall to the proverbial ash heap of history. Through these bands and people the article explores the role that music of all stripes plays in our cultural and social lives.
